New posts being replaced with previous post

For the past couple of days when I create a new post and go to view it either from within the post editor or on site the URL of the new post is correct but the post entry is of an older post. It has something to do with the template ive made beceuse when I change the theme the posts apears correctly but I cant find a problem or anything that has been changed in either the archive or single.
If anyone has any suggestions I would be very greatful this needs urgent attention..
