New posts – email notifications to subscribers not working.

Looked through all my settings and I can’t find the location to see if this might have been unchecked. This happened with my most recent post. I’ve deleted and posted new, but an email is not being sent. Can someone point me in the right direction please?

Have you checked this troubleshooting entry? It tells you how to proceed. What if the emails aren’t getting through?

Thanks for the correct link, however, the issue I’m having is that my subscribers are not getting an email to let them know I have a new post. I have two personal email accounts that are subscribed to my blog and did not receive an email notifying me of a new post.
Any other ideas?

Please use the Help link on the top right hand corner of your Admin page to report all your details for Staff and ask for assistance from them.
Note: When we create a support ticket by contacting Staff it’s important to understand they have a backlog. They deal with the support tickets with the earliest dates first. So if we contact them more than once of the same issue the date moves forward and it takes longer to get help. -
My email subscriber setting seems to work for everyone except gmail.com subscribers. I recently posted about YouTube censorship and how to delete Google Search History before March 1. That post and my next one went out, but today’s post mysteriously excluded all gmail subscribers. I hope it’s simply a coincidence or general WordPress.com issue for today only and not some bizarre Big Brother is REALLY watching censorship. Has anyone else had any trouble with email delivery to gmail addresses?

Would you please ask the affected subscribers to check their spam folders and let us know if they find them in there?

Thanks for that suggestion. Yes, the last post did go to spam in all of the gmail subscribers. I asked them to affirm that it was not spam, and today’s post went through just fine. Still interesting timing, given my post about Google right before this happened, but perhaps it was coincidental. :) In any case, it seems to be working again.
