New posts not appearing on Twitter, LinkedIn or Facebook – sharing not working

    Hi,
    For the past month, none of my blog posts have been ‘publicized’ properly. They are not appearing on any of my linked social media accounts. I have disconnected and reconnected each of them twice in an effort to restart the sharing process; however, it is still not working. They used to work fine. I have authorized access to WordPress on Twitter, so that’s not the problem.

    Is anyone else having this issue? I used to get a lot of traffic through this publicize option but without it, the blog is much less visible.

    Hi there. Are you using the new Beep Beep Boop editor or the classic editor? The new editor used to have an issue with Publicize, but as far as I know that was fixed.

    Also check before you publish your next post that the Publicize options in the post editor are selected. It could have happened that you unselected them at some point and the software doesn’t automatically reselect them.

    Lastly, when you reconnected your accounts, did you make sure to disconnect it on both sides before reconnecting? After disconnecting them on WordPress you also have to go to your Facebook and Twitter settings and disconnect it there as well, otherwise the reconnect won’t work. http://en.support.wordpress.com/publicize/#reconnecting-services
