New posts not showing up on home page

    Hi! I am new to WordPress so maybe there is something I am missing. I have my settings to display my latests posts. However, I just published my first post and it appears at the top in the “featured” section with a photo & link to it, but not at the bottom where it should display the actual text of the post. How can I fix this? I have the Canard theme.

    Hi,
    The Canard theme does not display posts in both the featured content area and the posts stream below the featured content area. It’s one or the other. The single post is displayed here: https://christinainitalia.wordpress.com/2015/08/21/hello-world/, regardless of whether the post is tagged as a featured content post.

    I’m not sure what is causing the error message “Nothing Found…” on the front page. Perhaps this occurs when your only post(s) are marked as featured content.

    Yes. That’s right. If every post is a featured one then there will be no other posts to display.

    It seems we can’t find what you’re looking for. Perhaps searching can help.

    By default the front page of the blog is the only page that will display all published posts on it. As soon as you publish a post not a page the front page error message and searchbox that appears on every new WordPress.COM blog will be gone. http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/
