new posts on new page

I have just started a new blog with wordpress and just made a new page as well as the home page. How do I go about posting new posts on this page so that once the reader hits the new tab they will see the posts in relevance to the tab name instead of it being displayed on my home page? Please help.

Hi there. Blog posts by default appear on your home page (main feed) in reverse chronological order. You cannot prevent posts from publishing on the main feed, but you can set up category pages that will only display posts that have a certain category assigned. You’ll need to create a custom menu in order to use category pages. See these articles for comprehensive instructions:

To not have your main feed appear on the home page you’ll need to assign a static page as your home page. Instructions to do that here:
