New posts screen behaving differently

    My “automatic tags,” “related posts” and, the “Update” button no longer appear when i’m typing a new post. This began last Friday, 1/3/14. Thank you. Coincidentally, it appears, my traffic has dropped by 75% this week…

    Howdy,

    We have removed the Zemanta tool that provided that. Our goal is to provide the best, most transparent experience for you and felt we couldn’t continue our business relationship with Zemanta.

    We have a bit more, including options on how to install a browser extension to gain back the features at https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/removing-zemanta-integration?replies=1

    This change wouldn’t have an impact on viewership, unless you’re not tagging your posts at all and you had a good deal of viewership via the tags.
