New problems with the new editing version . . .

  I appreciate the progress being made on the new editing tools – good job!! . . . . but, I have a few major problems perhaps you are unaware of. (1) creating a new page within a post is very difficult, sometimes it works sometimes it does not. I have tried using both the View and Text modes, but had best success going back to the classic edit version . . . but while it created the new page after I saved it, when I went back to the new version, it was not there. Also, and most frustrating, after working on the post over several days, and saving changes without any problems, all that work just disappeared!! I went back to My Sites as suggested but it was not there…….so I am guessing that the “save” or “update” buttons (or auto save) are not always working. Next time I guess I will print out interim drafts so I can go back and redo exactly as I had.

  In order to create a page, you would have to go to Pages > Add new in your Dashboard. Can you please explain what you mean by creating a new page within a post? I’m a bit confused by that.

  Currently you aren’t able to create a new page from the new editor only a post.

  We are currently looking into the auto-save at the moment. In addition, we are looking into creating a warning of some sort when leaving the page.
