new purchase confusing

I paid for mickycharles.com, I have seen multiple incorrect site names, the site has said I have no sites, its says mickycharlesmusic everywhere, including saying that is the web adress, which it should not be. the web adress is supposed to be mickycharles.com, nothing else at all, ever. can you help navigate this? thanks,

Hi again, understood. I am sure this is frustrating. You are posting in the original thread that I linked to from your other threads.
While we are waiting for Staff to reply, mickmakesmusic.wordpress.com comes up as a deleted site for me. (This is the site linked to your username.)
If it helps, I see your site at https://mickycharles.com/ Sometimes it can take time (up to 72 hours) for the DNS pointers for your domain to shake down to your ISP. It helps to clear your browser cache and cookies from time to time.
As far as the site saying you do not have any site anywhere, where exactly (what screen) are you seeing this? Is it possible that you should be logged in with a different username account?

i dont know. but I can say that I went through the process of choosing the domain name mickycharles.com, and on my reciept it says mickycharlesweb.wordpress.com….on the wordpress site when i log in with my email, and passcode, it brings up mickcharlescom.wordpress.com, or mickycharlesmusic….no where does it say mickycharles.com, and it claims I have no sites, and brings me to the page where i can choose themes and a domain. then i go to micky charles .com and that pops up as though it exists…yet where I log in, there is no trace of mickycharles.com.

I can’t see anything wrong here. If you log in to https://mickycharlesweb.wordpress.com that is the correct address you use. That is where your blog will be and where you post stuff. It redirects to mickycharles.com in the address bar so that is the address visitors will use and will see.

@mickmakesmusic – I can confirm that https://mickycharlesweb.wordpress.com is the site URL that redirects to your purchased domain https://mickycharles.com/ but please sit tight and hang on for Staff. They can see what is happening on the back end. If in the meanwhile you want to log in to your Admin area you can do so at https://mickycharlesweb.wordpress.com/wp-admin/
NOTE TO STAFF: Something odd going on in the footer of that site (besides it saying that it’s a org site, the page info clearly indicates the site is com). (temporary screenshot) FF latest on Win10Pro. Same thing appearing on the Twenty Sixteen demo site as well.

So im not clear about why i need to log in at mickycharlesweb.wordpress.com, I am under thenimpression that i just type wordpress in a google search, go to home page, and log in wth my email and password.

I would do as @justjennifer suggested.
Save https://mickycharlesweb.wordpress.com/wp-admin/ in your browser and log in from there and then things should work.

As themagicrobot said earlier, you will always see the underlying WordPressdotcom URL of your site when in the Admin area of your site. Visitors will see the custom domain.
You can log in to your site from the URL I gave above or from the WordPressdotcom homepage at https://wordpress.com/
The issue I noted to Staff seems to affect the Twenty Sixteen theme in general. Staff will also take care of that.

I cant find this thread, anywhere, only on my phone email, adni have to log in each time i reply to your post.mickmakesmusic is the site we are conversing in, which is a site i deleted ( to no avail obviously). We r discussing another site, from this site which has no domain…
That being said, what is the reason to log in the way jennnifer suggested, i am still under the impression that as a site owner i log in at wordpress with my username and password -
ok, i am here, on this site, and it is not the site I paid for. just where we opened this thread. this site should have been erased, and should have zero to do with mickycharles.com
I am not sure what I need to do to erase this site, but I dont want it to affect my actual site mickycharles.com….so to be clear, is this not tied into mickycharles at all correct? also, not getting your replies on here, only in my email. and i have to log in each time i reply. why can i not see your reply here -
I think you are confusing yourself by having more than one username on WordPress. You are in the forums using log in credentials from a site you have deleted. Have you the correct login details to access https://mickycharlesweb.wordpress.com ?? That is where your “dashboard” for https://mickycharles.com/ will be found.

@mickmakesmusic – You may have overlooked my earlier reply where I mentioned that mickmakesmusic.wordpress.com is a deleted site and asked whether you have a second username account.
Also, I kindly suggest that you wait for Staff to look in on this so that they can see what is going on behind the scenes and reply to your concerns.

yes I can log in to the mickycharles.com from wordpress, havnt logged in with the other method yet, because I want to keep it simple until i grasp where Im going wrong. Ok, I want this site deleted completely, and this site apperently never had any purchases etc. I can log in to mickycharles.com just fine, and all my info come up there. so should i try to delete this mickmakesmusic site one more time and see if that works? im only on it because this thread was started here, due the fact that an hour ago I couldn’t find mickycharles.com anywhere. i finally realized it was a different email and password for that site, which i did pay for and recieved a reciept. so this one can be discarded completely right? then i go log in to my acctual paid for site, using wordpress homepage login, or log in with mickycharlesweb.wordpress.com

yah Jennifer im only on here (why it still logs me on i dont know) becuase the thread started here…earlier I wasnt able to log in to site i purchased, but I realized it was a different email and password, i am now able to log in to my paid for site mickycharles.com….so as of now I need to know how to completely erase this mickmakesmusic site and never be able to log in to it at all

Again, the site mickmakesmusic.wordpress.com is a deleted site. You do not need to do anything further there.
As you have stated you have a different username and password for mickycharlesweb.wordpress.com the simplest solution is to log in with that username account.
As long as you are logged in with the correct username account and can see your purchases in your dashboard at https://wordpress.com/purchases you will also be able to receive assistance directly from Staff on the Contact Us page in the Dashboard as you have a paid plan that includes that assistance. https://wordpress.com/help/contact
