new registration username or reset password

Hi. Love WP :)
I remember either I or an intern who worked for me long a go registered WordPress.com under specific username, but when I try to reset the password it asks for an email and I don’t remember what it was. Also, when I try to register again for that same username it says the username is not available, yet it also states that it doesn’t exist in other places.
I think just sending a password reset to whatever password was used will help so I can get back in. How can I make this happen if I don’t remember the email address?

I think staff can help you. They will send you the password reset link to the email they have on file. I am tagging this for staff’s attention. Some friendly staff member will respond to this thread as as soon as they can.

Hi I need my password. When I try to get a mail for the reset, I never receive the mail. I had an Indian guy set up my site, and I am afraid that he has changed the contact email. What do I do, I am desperate now.

Also when I register with godaddy.com I can get into WordPress but my published posts are nowhere?

Please use account recovery http://en.support.wordpress.com/account-recovery/ Complete as much information as you can. If you do not have access to or don’t know the email address linked to the account that owns the blog, please check the box on the recovery form next to “I don’t know my registered email or username.” Then, fill out the rest of the form with the URL of the blog and your contact email address, and submit the form to the Account Recovery Staff, so they can contact you by email ie. not on these public support forums which are available to everyone with internet access.

Thank you timethief :) I tried, but the form requires I have one of these three forms of proof, which I don’t because my former intern set it up and I don’t know what he did.
Do you have a transaction ID?
Do you have an activation URL or key?
Do you have two factor authentication codes?How can I submit a request not knowing these?

I am afraid it is nearly impossible to recover your account (even for Staff) without any of those details.
The only option I can think of is, to create a new account and a new site/blog. If you would like to the content, you can export the RSS of your earlier blog and import it to the new blog. So your content is retained between the blogs. We can talk about the detailed steps if you choose to opt this.
