  I keep getting e-mail messages about new registrations for my website, but I don’t recognize any of the names. What are they registering for? I don’t currently have a feed option on my site.

  That is a self-hosted WordPress.org site, which we really can’t help with here.

  To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities: http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  With that said, visit Settings > General in your site’s Dashboard and uncheck “Anyone can register.” ;)
