New RTF Editor in WP 2.5

    I’m assuming the new dashboard is part of 2.5 (I’d played with 2.5 RC1 on a WP blog I have hosted elsewhere, but TheRustyNail is hosted at WordPress.

    Whenever I use the RTF/WYSIWYG editor, the “insert link” and “custom character” button do nothing but bring up an blank, empty white box with no text or box into which to paste the URL. I can work around the insert link by going to the HTML editor, and typing in the HTML code for it (pain in the tuchas, though). But I don’t know of a work around for inserting those other characters, such as vowels with accent marks over them; I do know the “©” trick, but the other stuff stumps me without the RTF button being functional.

    Is this a bug? If not, is there a work-around?

    Can you right click on the popup box and select Reload Frame?

    It looks like that worked. Good to know. Don’t know if it was a one-time thing or it’ll recur with every new entry, but I’m glad there’s a work-around. Thanks!
