  I would like to launch a new site, but I can’t see how I can from WordPress.org, it doesn’t have ‘new site’ in the menu?

  Hi there,

  WordPress.org is just the website where the WordPress community makes the open source WordPress software. It’s not a hosting provider or a website building platform like WordPress.com, so you cannot create/launch new sites directly on WordPress.org.

  To create a new site using that software, you need to sign up for a new hosting plan at your preferred hosting provider, install a new copy of WordPress, and continue building the site.

  If your existing hosting plan supports multiple sites, you should be able to create a new site by logging into your hosting control panel at your current hosting provider. In that case, please contact their support directly for help with this.
