  I would like to start over on my site. I’m not interested in a blog only site but am wanting to create a business site, does that require a premium subscription?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  To answer your question, you are not required to purchase a premium subscription in order to create a business website. You can achieve this with the free plan, but there are some advantages to purchasing an upgraded plan:

  By default, the front page of your WordPress.com site will display the most recent content/posts from your blog. Since you are looking to create a more “traditional” website that you could use for business, you will want to create a static home page. Here is a support document that explains how to achieve this:

  Set the Homepage

  If you desire, you will still have the option to set up a separate page to display your recent posts/blog elsewhere on your site.
