New site?

My non-profit org is hoping to change our web site from VodaHost to yours. According to GoDaddy who handles our domain said I need to get your DNS in order for them to switch our domain. We have a temp site built by some college students. https://blacklickoffline.wodpress.com. Our current site is blacklickcreekwatershed.org
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

@bcwapa, no problem. You’ll need domain mapping on the site, then you can set up the name servers to point here. We have a how-to here:

Another one of my questions – the college students did a website on WordPress offline?
The site name they used is not our domain name. https://blacklickoffline.wordpress.com
How do I get it online and change the name to our domain name: blacklickcreekwatershed.org?
Do I need to purchase a plan first?

If they created a local site using the free WordPress.org software, and now you want to move that to your own installation of WordPress.org on the web, you’ll need a standard host. The same students may be willing to help you publish it to the web, but if not your new host may be able to help.
We have a few recommended hosts listed here:

Just note it would be different from a site on our servers, because you’d be working with a customized installation. This may help, too:
