  Hi all,

  I am so confused by wordpress. Over the years i’ve created so many accounts that I don’t understand what is what sometimes. As I logged in today it took me to a very basic page saying ‘my site’ with no blogs attached to it, just an old username which i’d like to delete. I have an old blog ‘positivelypanicking.com’ where i am able to see my dashboard, etc. however, i no longer want this domain and i’d like to delete everything on it and start over with my new domain. Any insight? I’m trying to delete the basic old site now but it’s saying some of my blogs may be attached?

  Hi –

  Have you already registered the new domain that you want to use? I’d do that as a first step. Be sure you are signed in to the user account that you want to use as well going forward when you complete the registration.

  The domain mentioned in this thread was registered at GoDaddy and pointed to BlueHost rather than us at WordPress.com. This would indicate that you are likely using the WordPress installation.
