New Site and closing some but not all blogs

    Two questions.
    1. How do I delete some of my blogs but not others? I saw an option to close the account completely, but I don’t want to do that. I just want to delete select sites.

    2. I also want to create a site through WP using a domain I have registered at GoDaddy. I unlocked it over there and am waiting for that to go through. Can I purchase the site and be creating it in the meantime?

    Click on My Sites ->Switch Site and select the site you want to delete. Then go to Manage ->Settings. You’ll find the delete site option at the bottom of that screen.

    All WordPress.com sites are created at a free WordPress.com address, regardless of whether or not you’re planning to use your own domain for the site. So you can create and upgrade your site, and only map/transfer the domain to us later, once you’re ready.
