new site build

    I have a company that built our sites and currently host them. I am not happy with the sites at this point and wanted to build our own in the mean time and then tie our web addresses to them. Is there a way to work on it now with out throwing up an alram to the guy who is hosting it? When i go to create it starts with the web site name. I cannot transfer anything right now until we would be done with the build and ready to go live.
    Any suggestions on how to go about it? We have 4 different websites that need to be redone.

    Hi there!

    Sure thing, you can create a site using a free subdomain (make sure you choose one ending with .wordpress.com or .home.blog – you’ll see it says free right next to it).
    You can develop your site with that and then upgrade and register, map or transfer a custom domain whenever you’re ready.
