New site but old site will not go away

WordPress is the host to my site: literacyengagementcenter.com. However, each time I log in and try to design or conduct any activity on my new site features, comments, and associations from another website hosted by wordpress(created by a friend) pops up. I can not separate literacyengagementcenter.com from beyondbrownvsbooardofed.com. It is all meshed together. The brown site from last July is preventing me from interacting on my new site literacyengagementcenter. How can I start new and proceed with building my new site hosted by wordpress?
