  This is not helpful. I do not like the new editor. I moved over from Blogger because I thought this would be easier, it wasn’t. But it was close enough that I stayed and anticipated purchasing additional memory, but no.

  The only site on your account https://janpriddyoregon.wordpress.com/ is already set to the Classic Editor.

  Were you referring to a different site?

  That’s the one and I wish it were set to Classic Editor. I accidentally clicked the new editor and now I can’t put it back the way it was. When I open a new document it comes up with the new editor every time—I did exit out and reenter. Can you help with this?

  The classic editor at My Site ->Site ->Posts is being permanently removed from WordPress.com. That was our own editor that we introduced in 2015 as an alternative to the default WordPress editor, and is being completely removed now as it’s not feasible for us to maintain three different editors on WordPress.com.

  There is still a classic editor available, but it only exists in WP-Admin, and is added to WordPress.com via the classic editor plugin made on WordPress.org. You can use that editor by going to https://janpriddyoregon.wordpress.com/wp-admin/edit.php and clicking the Add New button at the top of the page.

  Along with this removal, it is no longer possible to set the classic editor as the default editor on your site – the default editor will now be the block editor for everyone on WordPress.com, as it already is in the open source WordPress software.
