New Theme

  Brand new to wordpress.
  I tinkered with the website title and slogan on a temporary theme – and saved changes. When I changed the theme, website continued to show content from first theme. I deleted all pages and posts. Now the website shows nothing apart from home page background image from new theme.
  I’d like to see the full contents of the new theme as shown in live demo – restart website from scratch. How can I get there?

  We can reset your blog to look like the theme’s demo, but we first need to know what theme you want to use as you’ve made quite a few theme switches over the past 24 hours.

  Currently your site motherhoodlabs.wordpress.com is using the Twenty Seventeen theme – is this the theme you want to use? If so, we can reset your site to use the demo content – please note this will remove any posts, pages, media, or other edits you’ve made on the site.

  If you want to use a different theme, please switch to that theme first, then let us know and we can restore that theme’s demo content.

  Good to hear from you.

  1. Yes, I’d like to stick with the Twenty Seventeen theme. Kindly reset to demo content.
  2. Removing all changes and existing content is okay.

  3. Just in case I needed to reset again sometime in the future, is there a way to do this at my/users’ end?

  No problem! This has been actioned for you. and you should see the demo content in place.

  3. Just in case I needed to reset again sometime in the future, is there a way to do this at my/users’ end?

  This depends on the theme being selected – its more possible with block based themes to import the demo content upon activation.

  We’re happy to help with changes in the future that said. :)
