  How do you put in a new theme from a different site?

  Since you did not give us a link to your blog, I cannot be sure if you are in the right forum or not.

  If your blog is hosted here at wordpress.COM then you cannot upload themes. You are limited to those shown under appearance > themes. The themes you can download off of the internet are for self-hosted wordpress blogs using the software downloaded from wordpress.ORG.

  You can stylize the themes here with the CSS upgrade, but it is not recommended unless you have CSS experience. Go the the FAQ’s and search for “CSS” and you will find more information on the CSS upgrade and where to get help.
