New Theme Appearance

  Hello,

  I just switched my WordPress blog to the Canard theme, and it does not look like the theme demo. No photos on the home page, no Canard format; just a list of my posts with Titles.

  Also, the menus I created do not seem to be set up correctly; the main menu is showing posts twice on home page: they are listed on page, and also listed as tags/icons.
  I am very new at this, and sure I am missing something.

  I was having the same problem. You need to add the “featured” tag name within the Customize section under featured content. Then, in the post itself, add the featured tag.
