New theme listed as "active," but pages still look like old theme
-
Hi,
When I first signed up to WordPress.com I selected the Meraki theme. Soon after, I wanted to change to the Resonar theme. I updated the theme to Resonar, which is listed as the “Current Theme.” However, the homepage and posts still look like the style of the Meraki theme.
How can I get the homepage and posts to reflect the “active theme on my site” (Resonar) instead of the first one that I chose (Meraki)?
I’d like to have the site in the visual design of the Resonar theme.
Thanks for all your help.

Hi there!
I’m showing that your homepage is using the Resonar theme styling.
If you’re still having this problem, please take a screenshot of the problem in question. If you’re not familiar with how to take a screenshot, this support document will help explain how to make one:
Then, use a service like Snipboard.io to upload the screenshot and then share the image link from that service here and we’ll take a closer look.
Thanks!

Hello heroponriki,
Thanks for your reply.
Here is the Snipboard.io link: https://snipboard.io/I7Xu41.jpg
nullPlease note that this screenshot is of the desktop homepage at 25%, in order for you to see better from top to bottom of the homepage. (It is not a screenshot of the mobile view.)
I have created a Navigation menu and two posts.
However, as you can hopefully see, the theme is that of Meraki and not Resonar (even though Resonar is listed as the active theme).
How can I get the Resonar theme to be truly active and reflected in the homepage?
Best,

Thanks for that. I will note that your site looks different than it did the other day.
What we can do is propagate your site with the Resonar theme’s demo content in one of two ways:
1. We can give you a fresh start with the theme and its demo content. This would remove any content you’ve added so far.
2. We can add the demo content to your site without affecting your content. You would then need to configure the demo content pages to reflect your site design the way you choose.
Let us know which way you’d like to proceed and we’ll get started. Thanks!

Thanks for the reply.
Let’s go with option No. 1. and get a fresh start with the Resonar theme and its demo content.
I’m just getting started here anyway, so there isn’t much original content yet, and removing it isn’t a major issue to me.
Starting over with a clean slate sounds like a good idea.
Thanks.
