New Themes 2026

    Are there any new themes coming out for 2026? I find my current theme and the new editors very confusing. The older classic themes were easier and simple. I wanna customize my site but I find the new editor confusing even when I watch videos and tutorials etc

    Thanks for reaching out. You are definitely not alone in feeling this way. The newer editor can feel a little confusing, especially if you were comfortable with classic themes and the Customizer.

    If you prefer a more classic experience, there are some themes that keep things simpler while still working well with the modern editor.

    Two good options to consider are:

    https://wordpress.com/theme/kadence

    Both of these themes still use the Customizer for many settings, which often feels more familiar and easier to work with, while also being designed to work smoothly with the WordPress block editor for your content.

    Ok. I checked out both themes but I don’t really like them. I want a theme thats nice looking but simple with an easier editor similar to the old editor which I find easier for customization

    I know most themes have the new editor but I find it very confusing to use. But I also don’t wanna use an outdated old theme either if I switch

    So its probably better to stick with the newer themes right

    Hi @koolbeanz247,

    It’s generally a good idea to stick with newer themes, especially block themes. These are the ones we’re actively improving and building on, and they give you much more flexibility to edit and customize your entire site — not just pages or posts. This is what we call full site editing. You can read more about this in our guide on block themes.

    I know getting started with the Site Editor can feel a bit confusing at first, but it tends to click as you spend more time working in it. We’ve also put together a support guide, with videos included, that walks you through how everything works in our Use the Site Editor guide.

    I also wanted to mention that if you prefer working the way you did before with the Classic Editor, you can still do that. In the block editor, you can add a Classic block, which works very much like the editor you were previously using. You can find more details in our guide on using the Classic block.

    hello there,

    truly sorry for posting this here but I cant seem to find how to get in contact with a support staff to help me with an issue, maybe i have created a forum topic that’s not visible to others? am sorry i dont know how to do this so am trying to get some support engineers to notice my topic and help me, sorry for any inconvenience, thanks for understanding, please help!
