new thumbnails stopped displaying on the main page of The Columnist theme

    Hi,

    Previously, any new Photo post with the Columnist theme displayed a small thumbnail as the featured image on the main page, below the title. It was very handy to have the title with a clear image underneath on the main page for each Photo post. Now, any new Photo post just displays the title on the main page without any photo thumbnail; also, when I set featured image manually, the title appears over the thumbnail, not ideal for displaying a clear thumbnail of the piece of furniture.

    How do I get it to return to posting small thumbnails beneath the title on the main page automatically, as it did for the first few dozen postings when I initially began using the theme?
