    I am SO not experienced with blogging let alone how to use Word Press. I already have a website, how can I link what I write her to post on my site? Is that possible? Do I have to have the ‘wordpress’ part in my web address? I don’t like the web address assigned to me, can I change it?

    You are referring to guest posts on your website, aren’t you?

    Do I have to have the ‘wordpress’ part in my web address?

    In order to remove Mysite.wordpress.com and replace it with Mysite.com, you will need to upgrade to a paid plan with WordPress.com.

    You must be logged in as the Admin under the same username account that registered the blog to change the URL. Your desired URL must also be available.

    Follow these steps to alter the URL: https://wordpress.com/support/changing-site-address/

    You can change your free site address, but if that address has already been used by another site, it is no longer available for use.
