I just posted my first three blogs, and while checking them out, as I scroll down the page, there are four or five posts that are not mine, but says ‘published by’ amd has my name next to it.WP.com: Yes

Those are the Sample posts that come with new sites. You can delete them in the Post menu on your Dashboard.
