New to blogging: can I import other people’s blog posts to my own?
-
So, I’m very new to this, so bear with me.
I am a research assistant, and I’ve been asked to make a blog for a really big project that involves lots of people, and that strives to be accessible to the public as well.I have been asked if I can make it so that everyone in the project automatically has the ability to post to the blog (do they have to make a wordpress account first? do they need a “home blog” as well as the group blog?)
Also, some people already have blogs, and want to know if there’s a way that they can have their posts automatically re-posted in the group blog. I do not know if this is possible… like, in facebook, you can import a blog, but I’m not sure how to do it here.
Lastly, some of the people know nothing about blogging and are not very tech savvy (i.e. they hire typists) and I want to make blogging easy for them. How should I introduce them? Does anyone know any easy videos or guides that would be good for technophobes with PhD’s?
Thanks so much for the help! The site is here, http://whatsortsofpeople.wordpress.com/ by the by :)

Everyone who posts to a WordPress.com blog must have an account here at WP.com; an account on an externally-hosted WP blog won’t connect with us here. They do not need to have any other blog but the one you’ll invite them to contribute to. The blog admin needs to issue an invitation to each user to become an author.
You cannot automatically import blog posts and display them on a WordPress.com blog as far as I know. You CAN copy/paste, though. You can also subscribe to their RSS feed and put that in the sidebar, although it only shows titles.
