new to blogging, how do I get my ‘blogs’ out there for others to read?

Just created a page on here, have only posted two blogs so far, but I’m confused as to how others will even see the blogs – or not?
I’m hoping others will read what I write about and leave comments from time to time….can someone please help me figure out
how to make that possible? Well, if my blogs are boring then that’s on me right? ha Perhaps nobody will feel like commenting
at all, who knows….- I just want to make sure I’m doing everything correctly. Any help will be appreciated.

This is a huge question. :) Some basics that I’ve learned:
* email everyone you know the link to your blog and ask for their support
* be sure to use tags and categories; bloggers will search on these topics and it may lead them to your blog.
* read other blogs that are similar to yours and see what you like and don’t like
* comment on other blogs that are similar to yours and leave your link at the bottom of all comments.
* start a meme (a consistent blog on the same subject, like Freezer Foods Friday or Wifey Wednesday) and post on that subject on that day every time. Similarly, comment on other memes and leave your link.
* put your blog address in your email signatureJust some things to get you started. There are other things that are more techical.

Try a search of the forums; there are at least a thousand tips here already.
Also: read the sticky thread at the top of the forum called 8 Things; it will teach you how to make your name link to your blog, very useful before you follow any of the other steps.
