It seems to me that am creating a blog, but I want to create a website. I want to by-pass Flatstone Theme because wordpress already have themes and it is confusing me having to work with two differ things. Please help am confused and a little frustrated I don’t seem to be getting anywhere with this.

It looks as though the website that you require assistance with is a self-hosted WordPress.org site rather than WordPress.com.

A blog is a website. It’s just a website with the focus being on a dynamic news feed, where a more traditional website is focused on static pages. You can use WordPress to create either. It just depends on how you set up the site.
In this case, please contact support for your theme directly, as they likely have their own specific process to set up your site as a traditional website using that theme.
