  Is there blog public or private? If public, then no, you don’t need an account and you should be able to just read it by entering a URL.

  If private, please follow this guide: https://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/#viewing-a-private-site

  Bare in mind this applies to sites hosted by WordPress.com!
