New to this and wanting some help on how to add adverts to my blog

    Hi

    Just set up my blog at weekend and new to all this so still learning everything.
    Would anyone know and tell me how I could add adverts to my blog and what is best plug in for this?
    Can I choose specifically where I want them to go?
    Remember I don’t speak much computer talk so be basic if possible.
    If it helps have a look at my blog and see what you would suggest.

    Hi there,

    There is no need to add plug-in for adding adverts to your site. You can monetise your site by various ways mentioned here:
    https://en.support.wordpress.com/monetize-your-site/

    You can add Third Party Advertisements only if you purchase Business plan on WordPress.com. Else you can opt for advertisements by WordPress.com called WordAds.

    You need around 1000 views per month and custom domain to be eligible to apply for WordAds. Bloggers with Free plan can’t apply for WordAds. So you need Personal plan as basic to apply for WordAds.
    If you have either of Premium or Business plan then you can have direct access to WordAds.

    Note: You get paid as per visits and not as per clicks on your ads.
