New to WordPress

  I’m brand new to WP. I just managed to create an introductory post, but I’m finding the instructions to be rather daunting. Even when I search for instructions for beginners, I’m overwhelmed by the topics (widgets, tags, categories, askimet, etc.) Isn’t there somewhere I can go to get the most fundamental instructions? I think many people want to do much more than have a simple blog, but that’s all I want.

  After I asked that question yesterday, I stumbled upon Blogging University, by The Daily Post, so I’m good now, but thank you.
