New to WordPress

  Hello. Apologies if this is a bit basic but I am trying to set a blog up but I don’t quite think I have done it properly.

  Firstly, I created an account at WordPress and I created a .wordpress.com, but I’m not sure that I needed to do this as I am self hosting my blog. I have done this and my blog appears on my domain. Is there a way I should link my domain blog with my wordpress.com blog as they are two different things.

  Secondly, most sites I visit are behind https:// when I browse to https://www.hellotimebomb.com it won’t find my page but when I go to http://www.hellotimebomb.com my blog is found, is this correct..?

  Lastly I am trying to use the IOS app and trying to add my self hosted site, i have entered my username, password and url but it keeps saying forbidden 403 error. I can log in with the same details to access my blog admin through my browser but I can’t get the app to work, what should I be entering in thr URL part…?
