New to WordPress, can it do this

    I’ve signed up for a WordPress account, but I have quite specific requirements and not sure whether WordPress is the right product for me, here’s what I need to do

    1. I need to be able to upload both video and photos
    2. Take payments for subscriptions (PayPal, credit cards)
    3. Have a private area or private blogs that are only available to subscribers (and with any luck there could be quite a few!)

    I’m quite happy to pay for any upgrades or plug-ins that will allow the above.

    HI there Bernie!The only PayPal we can use on wp.COM is a donate button.
    We can not have private by-members-only post.

    Bernie, I think you would be best served with a self-hosted wordpress blog/site.
