New to wordpress. Have a few questions!

Hey everyone. I am coming over the wordpress from blogspot for a new blog that I will be using to be the domain for my podcast coming out this summer. Not sure if I will upgrade to make it merely .com or just stay with wordpress in the URL. I definitely will be upgrading the storage amount in the future for hosting purposes.

WordPress seems pretty in-depth compared to blogspot, which is awesome, however it also is going to take me a bit more time to learn.

I am not finding an option to where I can add a picture to/behind/to the side of/over/under etc of the Blog title. I am not sure if this is because of the type of theme I chose or what. Also I am wondering if it is possible to change the font on the title of the blog to match the font I am using on my podcast logo/banner.(It is a font I downloaded, and installed on the computer into Wordpad) If not, is it even possible to change the font of the blog title, period?

    Here is my blog URL

    http://evilepisodespodcast.wordpress.com/

If anyone could take a look, it might help them understand what I am asking.

    Thanks!

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

In general, the visuals on a WordPress.com blog are less customizable than those on Blogspot, unless you know CSS well and have the paid CSS upgrade.

Some fonts (many) allow custom headers. The one you’ve chosen does not. Again, if you already knew CSS editing and how to do this, and purchased the upgrade, you could add it in, but otherwise, no.

In general, fonts that are the least bit esoteric won’t show up properly to your readers. Your best bet is to choose a theme that has a custom header (under Themes, you can filter for that) and then add your title right into the whole image that is your custom header. Then you can tell the blog not to show the text header (it’s a tickbox, I believe under Settings->Reading) and the word will show up the way you photoshopped it into the header, yet search engines will still see a title on your blog.
