New to WordPress. Have some experience with html and Dreamweaver

  Hello, I am trying to create my own portfolio site and I was told to use WordPress as it is much more convenient to maintain than Dreamweaver. As of now, I have zero experience with WordPress. Can you lead me to some tutorials and nifty tricks?

  The first thing you must do is read the thread at the top of the forums on the different kinds of WordPress. If you want to do theme hacking, you definitely want a WordPress.ORG blog, not a WordPress.COM one.
