New to WordPress. Need Help

    I just upgraded to the premium but I cant see a way to import a custom theme that I just bought. There is also a problem with loading my site. The domain doesnt work? Please help me.

    Hi,

    Purchase of the WordPress.com Premium plan does not give one the ability to import custom themes. The available themes are the same for those with Premium and free plans, those found in the WordPress.com Theme Showcase. Premium themes, a subclass of all available themes, can be purchased by any member, regardless of the plan they’ve chosen.

    There is also a problem with loading my site. The domain doesnt work?

    Which website are you referring to? Though it has WordPress.com nameservers, the site http://jaydonnolasco.com/ is hosted by Squarespace.
    The notice replacing your front page says,

    This website is pending domain owner verification
    To learn how to verify your domain, manage your domain settings here.

    Your confirm screen that shows at http://jaydonnolasco.com/ – is for a SquareSpace site – but your name servers are pointing to WordPress.COM and you have domain mapping.

    Did you do any other config settings other than name servers ?

    Do you want to be hosted on WordPress.COM or SquareSpace?

    I did some changes on the DNS hoping it would fix it, but it didnt.
    Im trying to move it to WORDPRESS.
    I have it set as the primary domain.

    I’m going to go ahead and close this thread since we’re resolving it privately. The tinypic you shared isn’t loading, but I can see the main issue with the domain is that it was cancelled just after registering.

    When you cancel a domain with any registrar, it’s not immediately deleted. They’ll typically hang onto it for a few days, and the settings can’t be modified during that time. We’ll await your response via helpdesk ticket.
