New to WorkPress Questions, Templates and Transfer

  I am currently using Frontpage 2003, I know….old, however up until recently with the new Android devices I need to consider an upgrade.
  I have to use a WordPress template or can I use my own design? Can I upload the files from Frontpage to WordPress? Can I upload slide shows?

  It’s great that you’re considering WordPress for your new website! You might want to read this support article for the differences between the two WordPress offerings first:

  And to answer your questions:
  1. You can customize a design on WordPress.com, but not use a design you did from scratch.
  2. You won’t be able to upload Frontpage files.
  3. Yes, you’ll be able to upload PowerPoint presentations. Here’s a list of file types that WordPress.com accepts: http://en.support.wordpress.com/accepted-filetypes/
