New to WP, imported from Blogspot, issues with design
-
Hello everyone,
So I’m excited to play a bit more around with WordPress, but my blog looks all wonky. Please take a look; you’ll notice that in some posts, there will be different fonts, no paragraph breaks, and my entire sidebar is actually on the bottom. Please help! I’m working from a mac and the page looks fine in Firefox, but not good in Safari, or when I check my blog from a PC in IE.
Thanks for the help and look forward to any guidance.

Could we have a link to your blog please?
It helps the volunteers here in the forums if you link your blog name to your username as explained here: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/how-to-make-your-name-link-to-your-blog?replies=54 .

“Please take a look”…where? You need to provide us with a link to your blog, starting with http:// for us to be able to look. Better still, add your blog URL to your username: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/how-to-make-your-name-link-to-your-blog?

Thanks for linking.
I ran your main page through W3C’s validation and apparently there are some end tags missing, but from what they show me, it would be hard to tell you which are actually causing the problems.
First, go to settings > writing and check the box next to “WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML automatically” and then click save changes.
Set your blog to display only one post per page (settings > reading) and then go through them to see which post or posts are causing issues. When you find a post that is causing the issue, open it for edit, then click the “HTML” tab, and then click the “close tags” button and save. The head on to the next one.

The posts that look wonky to you all you need to do is edit the post

Ok guys, here’s another; how can I change my font on the post? In the edit tool, it’s the font that I want, but when I look at my blog it’s in a less than ideal font. Help on this too please. Thnx.

Change your theme.
That kind of changing isn’t easily done at WP.com; it’s much more “here are five pages of off-the-shelf options for you to choose from.”
You COULD learn CSS from scratch and then, once fluent in it, pay for the CSS upgrade and make those changes automatic to your blog. And you MIGHT (stress MIGHT) be able to do it by editing every single paragraph with font tags. That will completely screw you up later if you switch to a different theme and want to change fonts again: you’ll have to edit every single paragraph in your entire blog, which is why we don’t recommend that.

The theme your using doesn’t have widgets on the bottom on some of your post
the text is out to far breaking the theme and that looks like that could
be the reason why your widgets are pushed to the bottom…FAQ » Why is my sidebar at the bottom of my posts?

The theme, if you do not override the font settings within each post, determines the displayed font via the CSS for the particular theme.
You can assign fonts within a post by including a span font tag.
<p><span font-family="arial">this is your paragraph.</span></p>
