new to WP so information required about domain

Hi its my first post in wp forum and hope you guys help me. I have a blog created and hosted it on a free hosting with a domain name given by them, Now how can i assign a new domain name to my existing wp blog folder which is on hosted on http://www.example.com/wp i want to give my own domain name but i need to save all data if i use redirection to new domain it works but when i click on post detail it shows nothing in url while if i use my existing domain which is example.com/wp then it shows blog title with date (as i define in wp settings) .
Please help me in this case can i copy my wp to another hosting so that i may assign new domain ?very very thanks guys!

This is the support forum for blogs hosted on wordpress.COM, meaning your blog URL is something.wordpress.com. Do you have a blog with the URL something.wordpress.com?
If you are asking about a self-hosted wordpress.ORG installation, you need to be in this forum: http://wordpress.org/support/

yes im url like mydomain.com/wp/post-title AND i just want to change my domain so that this becomes like this myNewDomain.com/wp/post-title etc.
you can think i have my own hosting and domain So in this case how can i change my domian?

If you have your own hosting, you are in the wrong forum. We can’t answer technical questions without a link to the actual blog, starting with http. We can’t even tell if you’re in the right forum, really. Give us the exact link.
