New UI doesn’t work!

How could you possibly spring such a drastic and dramatic change on us?
Suddenly all my behind-the-scenes stuff has a new — and *less functional!* — UI!
I can’t get a graphic into a post because after uploading it, it won’t go back to the post for me to place it! Plus, with the upload pane, “Show” doesn’t work!
And how could you do away with Save and Continue Editing?
Did someone from Microsoft design this? It’s certainly not Apple-like!
For God’s sake, be like Yahoomail — give us the option to GO BACK!

Some of my widgets are gone, even though my theme is unchanged. Is this because of the “upgrade”?

Also, you are probably going to have to clear your browser cache and cookies for everything to settle down. In fact, you might have to do it a few times over the next hour or two.

UI 101: Fail.
Why does the post page now disappear in order to upload a graphic?
Why doesn’t Show work in the graphic area?
Why can’t I get back to the Post area from the graphic area?
You can’t tell me this has to do with cookies or my browser cache!

Mike, read the post by the moderator right two above yours. It will take a little bit for things to stabilize.

I think I’ll just wait until tomorrow to try posting – I can’t get to the HTML editor which I always use to control the appearance of inserted images.
A little warning wouldn’t have hurt, I was in the middle of posting.

Since I’ve raked you over the coals, let me say I’ve just looked at the new comprehensive Dashboard. I like that! Well done!
