New unwelcome default.
-
When I enter ‘My sites’ it always defaulted to Stats until today. Suddenly on all my sites it defaults instead to something called My Home, which I do not want. It has not done this before. This is very annoying. How can I restore the default?

Hi there,
One thing you could try is by going to example.wordpress.com/wp-admin, or https://wordpress.com/stats/day/example.wordpress.com (with your URL), and bookmarking that page on your browser.
I hope this helps! Is this what you wanted?

@writer0001
Thank you, But I did not make myself very clear. I already do this, have done for ages, it is on my speed dial, and it works when I log in. The problem is when I change sites. I have a private testing site and when I wish to make a change on any public site I go backwards and forwards, and that is when I get confused with this my home thing.
It was all in order until today. -
Hi again @halilac,
I’m not sure if anything can be done about that, but it appears this thread has already been tagged for staff attention so they’ll be able to correct me if I’m wrong.
If you want to go to Stats, all you need to do is click on the Statistics option, the option under My Home:

Is this not appearing for you? If not, please share a screenshot of what you’re seeing. Read this support document if you’re not sure how to: https://wordpress.com/support/make-a-screenshot/.
I hope this helps!

I’m not noticing this problem myself, it should always default to the last section viewed.
First, please make sure that your browser is up to date: https://browsehappy.com/
If it is not, please try updating your browser or switching to a different browser.
If it is, please do these two things:
1. Try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies.
2. Try with all browser extensions or add-ons temporarily disabled.
Please let us know how each step goes for you, and which browser (and version of) you’re using if you’re still having trouble.
