New URL address not appearing in Google search for it

  I changed my blog URL from silviasplitintwo.wordpress.com to silviawroteit.wordpress.com. I then deleted the first URL address. Now, when I Google, silviawroteit.wordpress.com nothing comes up. When I type in my blog title, Silvia’s Words, the old URL pops up in the Google search and of course, the blog has been deleted. How do I get the new URL to appear in a Google search? I don’t want to buy an upgrade.

  There is not an upgrade that will help you at this point

  It takes 4 to 7 weeks for a new site to be fully indexed by search engines, changing names like you did without using a site redirect from the old URL means that you start over from zero with the new URL – you need to publish some new Posts for search engines to get used to your new URL.
