New URL? Options?

    I run a poetry website and have an upgraded WordPress package for my domain name and content features. After a few years, it’s time to brand and get serious, which means switching URLs.
    (Also, I’m not necessarily concerned with losing followers as something tells me switching URLs may lose them in the process).

    Questions:
    1) Any instructions on the easiest way to get all the old stuff pointed/moved to a new wordpress URL? Especially if the page structure (anything after the .com/) would be staying the same)?

    2) I just renewed my package upgrade on April 10, 2014. Do I lose the money from that subscription if sincerelylori.com becomes just a redirect to the new site or is there a way to apply the package to a new domain bought from WordPress?

    At any time, you can add additional domains to your WordPress.com site here:

    https://sincerelylori.wordpress.com/wp-admin/paid-upgrades.php?page=domains

    Add a Domain

    However, your site can only have one Primary Domain at a time. All the other domains associated with your site will direct users to the Primary Domain.

    No transfer of subscribers will be necessary, as you will be using the same underlying WordPress.com site.

    An additional charge for the new domain is required, as you’ve already utilized your WordPress.com Premium Plan’s domain credit to maintain sincerelylori.com.
