new used domain name.

We recently purchased a domain that had been used for wordpress.com in the past and now want to add it to our WordPress.com account as a domain. It seems the previous owner still has it in their wordpress acount because it will not allow us to add it to our account. What can we do to have the domain removed from their blog account so we can add it as a domain to our blog account?

Thank you, the domain is pursuedbytruth.com It is currently going to the previous owners blog. I tried to add the domain to my account but it says “Sorry, pursuedbytruth.com is already mapped to a WordPress.com blog.”

@pursuedbytruth they own an active subscription for the domain mapping. Do you know them?

We do know them but we do not have access to their account with the active subscription. Is there something you “WordPress” can do to deactivate the active subscription for that domain and make it available to us? Thank you

They recently paid for this upgrade. So for us to do something would be to cancel something they bought. Obviously we cannot do that without hearing from them first.
But if you will have them contact us and ask us to move the mapping to this other site, we can do that.
