New user – Dyad menu structure

    I am new to WordPress and therefore to Dyad. I’m at an early stage and struggling to figure out how to add additional headings to the main menu. At this point I only have About and Contact and can’t, despite many attempts, even get it to save Home let alone other, new, headings.
    Once I have those headings, how do I set up sub headings and then populate those categories?
    Also, I have, in the process of working with menus, added a category to the list of categories – how can I remove it?
    Sorry if these are things I should have sorted myself – I have tried but am struggling.
