new user setting up a blog in word press

  When I signed up for wordpress I selected create account only, because I was thinking about using my own domain name as a URL. However I changed my mind and would like to use the free URL for now and then later go with my own domain name. Can I do this? And if so, how do I set up the free URL?

  Once you are logged in and go back to the main page of http://wordpress.com there is an option there to signup for a blog. Moving to a new domain later will be a process that is easily done and we can help you attempt that when you get there!
