New user system?

  I think we should create a user permission system, where instead of authors and stuff, each user could have specific permissions in a yes no format, for example you would select a radio button of yes/no and that would be applied to that user, some examples would be:
  Post? Post Pages? Edit Pages? Edit Posts? Moderate comments? Add/remove users edit permissions? Edit sidebar/theme? Delete blog? Change theme/edit sidebar? Upload images? Change blog comment settings? Change reading options? Change all options? Full ownership? etc. It would make it much more functional.

  Also, like the levels will be editor, author, contritor, admin, custom. And add Manage spam? To the list.

  WordPress is open-source, so you might as well get started on the project.

  It would make it much easier for people to give full control of their blog to another person, so then they could have fun running around the forums crying about how the evil hacker locked them out of their own blog. I don’t think there’s anything like enough kids posting made-up drama in here so yes, I think it’s a really good idea.

  You mean full control without letting people steal the blog is what I had in mind, for example you could set someone to everything except deleting the blog and managing permissions. That is what it’s main use would be.
