new username

  hello!
  i would like to change my domain to coffeewithal.wordpress.com, and it says this is already a username. however, i know that this domain has been deleted. is there any way i can get it?

  The site name is reserved, even though the username was deleted. I’ll mention the issue to the team here to see if reserved addresses could be freed up in the future, but right now there’s no way for me to rename your site to that address, even on this end.

  I just did a little more research and found the reason why the name is reserved; it’s a technical issue, so I doubt that will change anytime soon.
